Just wanted to take a minute and write a little something about a first in our family...Easton just completed his first successful year in Football!!! We are SO proud of him and he far exceeded our expectations for his first time ever playing the game. His team finished the regular season 6-2 and made it to the second round of the playoffs before ending their season. Easton led his team as the starting QB and had a few good runs up the middle for positive yardage. There were also some sacks, but only one knocked the wind out of him and that was during the last playoff game. Football totally consumed our lives from mid-Aug. until the week before Thanksgiving, but we already miss it terribly and are looking forward to next year! I know from looking at the picture, 63 is not a normal number for a QB, but the kids got to pick their numbers and Easton wanted to wear this in memory of his Poppie. GO RAIDERS!!!Monday, December 1, 2008
